The Valencia installation was one of the most complex we've completed — 18 panels across three distinct zones in a live creative studio. Here's how we did it in three days.
Day 1: Survey and mounting
Our team arrived at 8am with pre-fabricated mounting rails. Each Phoenix Wall unit uses a continuous aluminium rail system that's fixed to the wall in a single pass. Level, mark, drill, fix. The process for an 8-metre wall section takes under two hours.
By midday, all mounting infrastructure across the three zones was complete. The studio's team continued working throughout — the installation process is quiet, clean, and non-disruptive.
Day 2: Panels and acoustic cores
The magnetic frames clicked into the mounting rail system with a satisfying snap — no tools required. Acoustic cores (pre-cut to frame size) slot behind the front face before the SEG fabric is tensioned.
"The magnetic connection is strong enough to support 8kg per panel, but smooth enough to swap in under 30 seconds."
Day 3: Fabric and NFC commissioning
SEG fabric panels are tensioned into the frame profile using a rubber extrusion that grips the edge of the fabric. The process produces a perfectly flat, wrinkle-free surface with no visible fixings.
NFC tags in the client zone were commissioned last — each one programmed to a specific URL, tested with three different smartphone models, and confirmed working before sign-off.
The result
Three zones, 18 panels, acoustic treatment, NFC integration. Three days. The studio's background noise level dropped from 68dB to 54dB. The client described the transformation as "like moving into a completely different building".
